COCVLA RESTAURANT

The recently opened Cócvla (Casserole in Latin) Restaurant at the Hotel Urbis Centre makes it possible for Tarragona’s residents to visit the hotel and enjoy a new culinary experience.

Cócvla’s menu combines Mediterranean cuisine and tradition with exquisite presentation of dishes at moderate prices.

Cócvla’s focus is to offer traditional cuisine that is hard to find today: home-style cannelloni, rice with vegetables, cod and other fish, salads, lentils, noodle casserole, cuttlefish and pea stew, fricandeau, oxtail, tripe, fish romesco, fresh grilled tuna fish…. These are some examples of Cócvla cuisine.

As far as wine, the spotlight is on our region. At Cócvla, we only serve Tarragona D.O. wines, giving long-term exclusivity to prime wineries.

The proximity to the Central Market and the special characteristics of Cócvla’s cuisine make this restaurant the gastronomic gathering place of Tarragona's Market area.
